Pentecost Confirmation and Baptism Service

June 8-15, 2014

Bishop Rob will visit St. Aidan on Pentecost Sunday to celebrate baptisms and confirmations

What is Confirmation?

Confirmation marks the point in the Christian journey at which you affirm for yourself the faith into which you have been baptized and your intention to live a life of committed discipleship. This affirmation is confirmed through prayer and the laying on of hands by the bishop. The Church also asks God to give you power through the Holy Spirit to enable you to live in the way of Jesus.

Bishop Rob Hardwick will be with us this Sunday to celebrate two baptism and several confirmations in our church community.

Celebrate with us at 10:30am, June 8!

We acknowledge that Jesus, the Lord of all, has called His Church to be a Church of all nations. With joy and in humility we gather on Treaty 4 Territory, the traditional lands of the Cree, Ojibwe, Saulteaux, Dakota, Lakota, Nakoda, and the homeland of the Métis Nation.
