Community Lunch Program

St. Aidan provides bag lunches to those in need in our community on the weekend.

Our teams prepare sandwiches, and add a piece of fruit, a boiled egg, and a dessert item to each bag.

Each guest receives one lunch. When there are extras available at the end of the distribution time, they are provided to those who are able to wait.

Distribution happens at the 1st Ave entrance from 10:00 - 10:30 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday with opportunity for connection space from 9 a.m. and occasional other meals and connection opportunities.

We are most grateful to the Moose Jaw Co-op, its patrons and to SaskWater for supporting this program through Project Shine and to the Co-op for generously providing additional food.

We acknowledge that Jesus, the Lord of all, has called His Church to be a Church of all nations. With joy and in humility we gather on Treaty 4 Territory, the traditional lands of the Cree, Ojibwe, Saulteaux, Dakota, Lakota, Nakoda, and the homeland of the Métis Nation.
