Youth Night

September 8-9, 2015

Youth Group this week is Tuesday, 6-8pm at St. Aidan.
This year we are adventurously reading the book of Revelation in our youth night study time. We won't be focusing on the weird and wacky theories out there, but will be listening with the ears of the Seven Churches for Revelation's challenging call to "overcome". We'll be learning what Revelation has to say about Jesus, and what it takes to follow him -- to be an 'overcomer'.

Next week: Tuesday, Sept 15, 6-8pm at St. Aidan.

Retreat: Fall Youth Retreat 2015 is just weeks away! Oct 2-4 at West Bank Bible Camp (just north of Swift Current). Please register by Tuesday, Sept 22, 2015 so that we can plan for appropriate numbers. ($105.00/retreater)

You'll notice we have a change in venue this year. Cypress Hills Camp, our typical venue, is now a conference centre in the fall, winter, and spring (while still a Bible camp in the summer), and so they have had to raise their prices significantly in order to fund full time conference staff. This resulted in a weekend retreat cost of nearly $300/retreater. Since we couldn't dream of asking you to pay a fee so high, we've been on the hunt for alternative venues, and we're trying West Bank Bible Camp this year.

See you Tuesday night at 6pm in St. Aidan's youth room!

We acknowledge that Jesus, the Lord of all, has called His Church to be a Church of all nations. With joy and in humility we gather on Treaty 4 Territory, the traditional lands of the Cree, Ojibwe, Saulteaux, Dakota, Lakota, Nakoda, and the homeland of the M├ętis Nation.
