Celebrate the Ascension of Jesus, the counterpoint of Ash Wednesday. The imposition of ashes on Ash Wednesday reminds us, "Dust you are and to dust you shall return." But on Ascension Day, the cross of ashes is replaced with a cross of glitter to remind us of the new life that God gives in the resurrection of Jesus.
