Cal, as Priest-in-Charge at St. Aidan, is providing stability in our time of transition between incumbents. He is dedicating about half time hours to St. Aidan as a bi-vocational priest. He is generously providing care for our parish by presiding, preaching and preparation, pressing needs, and lending an eye to the needs of the parish. He will continue to provide space for a deep appreciation of spirituality and the arts in the parish as he's done for us for many years. He is a gifted preacher and teacher; his wisdom and winsomeness naturally draw people to him for guidance in prayer and spiritual direction.
Cal received his (B.R.E. Honours) from Briercrest College, Caronport, SK, a Master of Christian Studies at Regent College, Vancouver, B.C., and a PhD from the University of Southampton in England. He is Associate Professor of History and Interdiscplinary Studies at Briercrest College and Seminary.
